Introduction: An exploration of new cinema trend of genre-mixing in Korean films.
Synopsis: This project aims to describe how Korean directors mix different genres in
their films and as a result create a new cinematic language uniquely to Korea. It tries to
answer the questions of : How did this technique first start? And how it has left marks on
genres.
